Mike reported earlier today that the Mets are interested in a pair of lefties in Carlos Rodón and Yusei Kikuchi, so they clearly want to round out that staff as after deGrom and Scherzer, the best one-two in Mets history, it's a bit of a drop off between them and the rest of the rotation options.
