さて、7月7日は七夕（たなばた）です。
ただ、日本だけでなくアジアでは中国、台湾、ベトナム、韓国など広くの国で七夕が行われているようです。
七夕とは、織姫（おりひめ）さまと彦星（ひこぼし）さまが天の川を渡って、1年に1度だけ出会える7月7日の夜のこと。短冊に願い事を書いて、笹竹に飾り付けます。
日本各地で行われる七夕祭りですが、元々は旧暦の7月7日だったため、7月7日から仙台七夕まつりのように8月7日を中心に行われる地域もございます。
