Only my sistas with children can relate to the heartaches, frustrations and learning experiences that come along with parenting. In this discussion I will open up about a conversation that I had with my son Zachary about family and getting to know one another. We have to take the time to get to know our loved ones and stop assuming that because we are their mother or father that we know them 100%. The truth is our children will reach a point where they will begin trying to figure out who they are and where they belong. I have noticed that the more I think I know, the more I need to learn.
