uḌne vaale uḌte uḌte uḌte haiñ
koī us būḌhe pīpal se kah aao
pinjre meñ ham ḳhuub maze se uḌte haiñ
haa.e vo chiḌiyā uḌ mainā uḌ ke jhagḌe
aur phir sābit karnā bakre uḌte haiñ
pinjre meñ daanā paanī sab rakkhā hai
aur parinde bhūke pyāse uḌte haiñ
dekh rahe haiñ ham bhī javānī ke mausam
band havā meñ kaise dupaTTe uḌte haiñ
is tote kā piñjrā kholo phir dekho
kaise is tote ke tote uḌte haiñ
