Description

With a population larger than Dunedin, the North Shore is an area where its elected officials represent 150000 people, in a part of the only Super City in Aotearoa.  Councillor Richard Hills is one of the two voted in to Auckland City Council to represent the people and the area - and today we finally caught up!

We talk about the ongoing evolving needs of such a large population base, the need to prioritise spending because of the lending caps in place and why he's leading the Council's charge to ensure climate change is seen as an urgent concern to a coastal city that has seen droughts, flooding and other effects of climate change hit it this year.
