We all have personal biases that effect how we interpret media, and media all have biases that effect how they portray events - and around elections that can sway how voters think and feel about particular politicians, parties and policies.
In this week’s episode of The Public Gallery, we look at some of our Gallery member’s own biases towards the media in Aotearoa. What have they noticed, how do they feel content was framed and where are the problems - and interestingly - what effect does toxic comment sections have on their, and the wider public’s, trust in the media they’re presented.
