Playing in theaters and streaming on digital and on demand beginning Friday, Sept. 16, “Confess, Fletch” may appeal to fans of Gregory Mcdonald’s 11-book series but ultimately fails to live up to the two late 80s films starring comedian Chevy Chase that preceded it.
