Today on the podcast I have one of our youngest guests, Jaxson Turner! On his 10th birthday, Jaxson decided instead of gifts he wanted to feed the homeless in his community. It was this calling to serve others less fortunate than him that inspired him to establish N2Y2C (Never Too Young To Care), a non-profit organization focused on serving people experiencing homelessness, underserved children, families, and veterans in North Texas.
Jaxson believes NO ONE is ever too young to give of themselves. Give a meal, a hug, a smile for a day and you will touch them for a lifetime.
Four years later, he’s still going strong and achieving his mission of making God proud!
Jaxson has been featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Access Hollywood, New York Times, and also received a letter from President Obama thanking him for his service in the community!
It was a pleasure speaking with Jaxson and his mom and hearing them share their wonderful story. I encourage you to listen with your little ones or young adults. I hope this podcast motivates you as you serve your community as a nonprofit or business.
