It's not surprising that so many of my former college classmates from Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, Vermont have some really interesting hobbies. One of them is Jonathan Talbot, retired Air Force Hurricane Hunter. Jonathan now lives along the gulf coast. In his retirement from chasing after hurricane eye-walls, he now casts his gaze outward from Earth when skies are clear. Let's explore how he became interested in astrophotography.
