Description

It's not often a photographer has the chance to capture a volcanic eruption up close. My guest today is Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove, a photographer who originally grew up in Belgium, but moved to Iceland about five years ago after his youth group experienced Iceland during a Scouting trip. Jeroen's new book, New Earth (links available on WeatherJazz.com) captures his adventure in photographing the eruption over the course of its life. This is Part 1 of a two-part series.
