In this episode, Lisa and McFinn are joined by Mayuri and Mayank Saxena. Mayuri was diagnosed with ALS 2.5 years after the onset of symptoms, at the young age of 32. Mayuri is joined by her brother Mayank, who has been instrumental throughout her journey even though they are bi-coastal.
We will take you through Mayanks journey and role as a caregiver for his sister, and also Mayuri’s advocacy efforts of standing up for others and herself. Through eye gaze technology to share her voice, Mauri tells us of the amazing advocacy efforts she has accomplished while also fighting ALS.
