This week we go back in time with Carlton champion Anthony Koutoufides. Anthony reminisces about his career, reflects on some of his favorite moments and people in the game.
Affectionally known as Kouta, Anthony spent 15 seasons in the Navy Blue, playing 278 games and kicking 226 goals. He was renowned for his versatility and considered one of the most athletic players to have ever played the game. One of Anthony’s greatest moments came in 1995, being a part of the Blues premiership team.
In this episode, Anthony talks about choosing football over athletics, how he had to earn his position in the team, the 1995 Premiership Win, Carlton’s troubles in the early 2000’s and life after football.
