Description

This week we go back in time with former Fitzroy/Port Adelaide/Richmond midfielder John Rombotis. John reminisces about his career, reflects on some of his favourite moments and people in the game.

John, who was first drafted by Fitzroy in 1994 with pick 23, spent two seasons at the Lions, playing 26 games before they amalgamated with the Brisbane Bears. John's football journey continued at Port Adelaide in their inaugural season of 1997 before heading back to Victoria and lining up with Richmond.

In this short episode, John talks about being drafted by Fitzroy, the 1996 season, his admiration of the Fitzroy supporters during the tough times, how he ended up playing for Port Adelaide, playing for the Tigers and life after football.

A great listen with our forty-third member of 'The 90's Club Footy Podcast'.
