This week we go back in time with former St Kilda and North Melbourne midfielder Joe McLaren. Joe reminisces about his career, reflects on some of his favourite moments and people in the game.
Joe, a Koroit Saints product from the Hampden League, was picked by St Kilda in the 1995 AFL draft with pick 22. Joe spent five seasons at Moorabbin, playing 57 games before moving to North Melbourne for the 2001 season, playing a further 12 games.
In this episode, Joe speaks about moving to big smoke from the country, running around with the likes of Harvey, Loewe, Burke and Everitt, the 1996 Ansett Cup Grand Final win, Tim Watson, playing for North Melbourne and living with Brent Harvey.
A great listen with the sixty-sixth member of 'The 90's Club Footy Podcast'.
