This week we go back in time with Sydney Swan utility Troy Luff. Troy reminisces about his career, reflects on some of his favourite moments and people in the game.
Troy, a product of Nelson Bay, made his debut with the Swans in 1990. He played a total of 155 games over his 12-year career in the red and white, including the 1996 AFL Grand Final against North Melbourne.
In this episode, Troy talks about the challenges he faced trying to gain a regular spot in the Swans team, the 1994 season where he was delisted and redrafted, Rodney Eade’s influence on his career, the 1996 Grand Final and his mental health battles in his later years.
A great listen with our thirty-eighth member of 'The 90's Club Footy Podcast'.
