In this episode, I explore how European countries use sustainability as part of their nation branding strategies. Drawing from my 2023 academic article, I analyze 31 countries and discuss how sustainability is communicated — or sometimes ignored — in their official national narratives. I also reflect on the risks of greenwashing and the soft power potential of sustainable branding.
