Description

Pain is inevitable and so is pleasure. I’ve felt both and I know that I will feel both as life goes on. The challenge is not to let pain become a distraction nor should pleasure become a distraction either. Instead, I want to be inspired by every part of life. I want to allow the pain and the pleasure to push me. When there are things that cause me to hurt, how can use it to inspire me to work? When there are things that bring me joy, how can I use it to allow me to work some more? I remember my mother having cancer like it was yesterday...I didn’t complain although I was hurt. Instead, I sang and some of my greatest work came from that time. And when my mother beat the cancer, I allowed her accomplishment to inspire me too. This is a reflection inspired by “The M.O.U.T.H. Book Messages of Uplift to Heal” by Quindell Evans.
