You are a people’s person, a family man who motivates and inspires people with every word that comes out your mouth. I am grateful for you. I am grateful to have been invited into your home the first time in summer 2015 because that day was life changing for me. I am happier today then I was then and I have grown as an artist and much of my growth is due to your encouragement, your acceptance and you providing opportunities for me to perform or work in fields that allowed me to use my acquired knowledge, talents and skills. You are fulfilling because you are transparent as a man, as an artist, as a father, as a leader, as a teacher and a friend. I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me intentionally and unintentionally. I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for yourself because your life journey, your stories and your memories are black history.
