Welcome to episode number 30 of the podcast! It's crazy to think we started this in 2021 and now we're here at episode 30. I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who's been listening and supporting the show. We really appreciate it.
For episode 30 we we're lucky enough to be joined by Josh Stuart from one of the best Australian bands of the mid 2000's Behind Crimson Eyes.
BCE were a big breakout for the scene and for Boomtown Records which is now known today as Unified so a really important part of Australian heavy music history.
Josh took us deep into the highs and lows during the bands golden years, gave us some insight into what it's like being on a major label and let us know what we can expect from the band going into their 20th anniversary to come next year.
It was a really eye opening chat and Josh was quite candid about some of the heartbreak, burnout and difficulties the band experienced and it really made me appreciate what a band goes through trying to grow and succeed.
Unfortunately we had a little issue with josh's audio in the beginning but that all cleared up at around question 3.
