The life of Joe Rojas, Seventh Day Slumber (SDS), had a rough start: growing up without a father, drug addiction, in and out of jail for years…until he came to Christ. Tune in as he talks about, among other things, the band’s struggles over the years, how his son came to be their (amazing) drummer, his advice to younger bands about the enticements of fame, and the recent, online debate over SDS playing the SXSW Festival in Austin, TX with controversial evangelist Todd White. To the so-called “keyboard theologians,” whose comments were, in his words, “venomous,” Joe warns: “You come in the name of the Lord, but your heart is far from Him.”
