In this episode we read about how Moses reminded the new generation that they are to love God. He also told them they are to obey God, and repeat His commands to their children. He further told them to talk about God at home, away from home, when they go to bed and when they wake up each morning. In other words God wanted to be the center of their lives. We too should make sure God is the center of our lives. Moses also reminded them not to forget about God once they are prosperous. This is a reminder to us as well that we don’t forget about God in the good times. Let’s remember to acknowledge Him in the good times as well as the bad times. In the bad or difficult times we praise Him because we know that He’s the one Who will bring us out victoriously.
