We talked about how Rebekah and Jacob tricked Isaac and received the blessing. We also talked about how Esau became angry and sought to kill Jacob resulting in Jacob staying away from home for the next 20 years. We talked about this Chapter revealing the divine providence of God. Even with all the scheming and lying going on, God’s plan and purpose will be done. When God has blessed you and chosen you He is going to make sure you get where you need to be. He is a sovereign God (ultimate power) and He gets the final word!
