In this episode we read Matthew Chapter 17:1-13 which talked about the transfiguration. This is when Jesus took Peter, James, and John up the mountain and he was transformed, changed right before their eyes. Moses and Elijah also appeared with Jesus and talked about his pending death. We read Romans 12:2 which tells us we are also being transformed, changed, by the renewing of our mind. Another scripture we read was from Ephesians 4:22-24 which tells us we must throw off our old sinful nature and put on our new nature.
