In this episode we read and discussed Chapter 4 and the beginning of Chapter 5. We talked about the temptation of Jesus and discussed the importance of us learning the word of God, Old and New Testament. We read vs 1-12 of Chapter 5 about the beatitudes. We talked about how blessed means ‘extremely fortunate’. We discussed how God wants us to remain poor meaning needy, always recognizing that we need Jesus.
