In this episode we learned about the two silver trumpets God told them to make. These trumpets would be used sort of like a PA system to call the people together, to signal when it was time to travel and break up camp, signal when they needed to go to war, etc. Also in this lesson we see that God’s people are finally leaving Mt Sinai after being there for a little over a year. In Chapter 11 we see Moses have a break down after the people complained about wanting meat. God heard Moses’ cry for help and appointed 70 elders to help Moses. A couple of things to learn for us: first we should appreciate how God allowed us to see the weakness in His leaders. When we read in the Bible about some of the powerful men of God who showed their shortcomings and weaknesses- it should give us hope. If He could use them with all their faults, surely God can use us with all our faults.
