In this episode we learn about the donkey that God allowed to speak. Yes, there was a talking donkey in the Bible! God who created us and the universe can do what ever He wants to do when He wants to do it. To get Balaam’s attention, He allowed the donkey to talk. One of the things we can get from this lesson is that God will use and can use anything to get our attention - He speaks to us from many different sources: His word, dreams, visions, movies, billboards, TV, family, enemies, non-Christians etc., and even a donkey if needed. If we are ever headed the wrong way, going down the wrong path, God will sometimes make our way difficult just to get our attention and to stop us from sinning or making major mistakes. After all isn’t that what a good shepherd does? He watches over the sheep to make sure they don’t go astray or are harmed. Thank God for Jesus. He is the good shepherd!
