As a lawyer of over 20 years, called to the Bar in Alberta and California LuAnne has advised entrepreneurs on how to protect their intellectual property and grow the value of these assets from start-up through exit. Her expertise in trademarks, copyright and patent licensing, transactional work and dispute resolution make her uniquely positioned to guide business owners with a variety of IP issues. She was recently named Best Lawyers In Canada - Lawyer of the Year for IP Law in Calgary and has been selected by Best Lawyers, Managing IP and World IP Review and other ranking publications as a leader in her field. She contributes to several publications on IP and is a frequent presenter at conferences, most recently for the American Bar Association and Intellectual Property Institute of Canada. She has also served on non-profit boards including the National Music Centre.
LuAnne has a passion for working with women business owners to accomplish their goals and empower them with knowledge of legal issues.
