Join Karaleigh in an interview with the wonderful Chris Mahan.
Chris is passionate about assisting small business owners employ the strategies and tactics that will ensure their business is successful and profitable. Having experienced first hand the devastating effects financial adversity can have on an individual, his desire is to remove the underlying cause of financial difficulties (which is typically a lack of money) so other business owners don't suffer as he once did. Chris sees himself as someone who reduces the stress on business owners, saves their marriages, strengthens their relationship with their children and grandchildren and, in some case, even saves their lives.
Favorite takeaways:
1. I just don’t know the whole picture yet, I don’t have the end of my story- I’m still in that rising action part. I just need to be willing to believe that there’s a happy ending somewhere and that this is just the really good part that gets everyone interested. Just wait, you never know what’s coming next.
2. Hold on to your fork- the best is yet to come.
3. There is so much beauty waiting for you in your life, just keep going.
4. There are times when those storms come into our lives and at the moment all we can see is the blackness, but if we can hold on, especially if we have people that can help us to hold on, then the sunshine is gonna come. It’s gonna break through. And when it does we have a renewed appreciation for it. It means more to us than it did before.
5. The more darkness that we experience in life the more we are able to appreciate the light. It’s in the contrast that we are able to live our lives to the fullest.
6. Who knows what the Lord is preparing you for?
7. Take time and find out what you really appreciate about the people around you, about the situation around you, looking for the positive things because even in the midst of dark times if we would stop and focus on the good things that are happening, we’ll see them. And the more that we focus on those, the less impact the negative things have in our lives.
