Description

Giving birth to my boys is one of the most intense experiences I’ve had in my life, but Mary’s? ...Mary’s birth changed the world we live in. Jesus gives us new hope and Jesus rewrote the story of humanity. As Christians, we should joyously celebrate that, but modern culture keeps transforming Christmas into a commercial date. There is so much pressure in decorating the house, preparing huge meals, and checking every box on the gift list, that we risk losing sight of the One Person we should be celebrating. And even worse, the stress from it all might even try and steal our time with our Savior.

Listen to the rest of Denise Assis Dos Santos' Essay today as she reflects upon reorienting our hearts to Jesus this Christmas.
