“When I took the time to notice that God saw when the time was right, I saw God’s faithfulness in the entirety of the Old Testament. The stories, lives, and events wove together. The miracles, the sin, the struggles, the joy, the silence - every little thing led up to the moment when the time was right. The time was right because God ordained those things to happen. None of it was wasted. I’m going to say that again: None of it was wasted. It all worked intricately together to bring about a moment when Christ entered our world, forever changing it. This is what Advent is about. It is about sitting in the presence of God and being in awe of His timing, not looking in vain for anything but, rather, celebrating Who we are looking for- Jesus, who came directly to us as a baby.”
