“Word Out” is our answer to the COVID-19 virus—we can worship together in a new way!
Queen Anne Lutheran has elected to discontinue in-person worship for the remainder of the Lenten season (through 4/05) to ensure everyone’s safety. We will also be suspending all church programming (including our forums) as well as small group activities until the end of Lent (again, 4/05), at which time we will re-evaluate.
Worship Alternative: Introducing “Word Out”
So, what about worship? What do we do? We offer here our alternative to in-person worship, “Word Out.” It provides a shortened audio and print version of our Sunday service, created by staff and a few volunteers each week, and including scripture, sermon, a hymn and prayers. Our first “Word Out” is an edited version of Sunday’s worship from March 8. Future services will appear by Wednesday of each week. We encourage you to read or listen to “Word Out” during Lent whenever your schedule allows.
