How much do you think social media helps your organic rankings?
Does social media help to increase my website’s rank that you're referring to organic ranking? I'm not an SEO expert, I've got lots of friends who are. But here's what I would say. Google looks at everything now. They look at the social proof and that is a big ranking factor. Are people talking about you on the internet or on social media? Are they liking your comments? Are they sharing, are they subscribing and all that kind of stuff? You will also find your Facebook links getting ranked on Google page one, which is huge. It never used to happen before.
So what this tells us is that Google and Facebook are playing nicely with each other and Google wants that social proof because if they are referring somebody to us, they want to refer someone who has got authority, who's reputable and who has got a good following. People are saying nice things about them and not a scammer who is just trying to scam people or a company. So in my humble opinion, yes. And this is why we upload videos like this every week, every weekday. Because to build up our social proof. This is huge. And if you just focus on this you are going to build up your authority very quickly.
