It's the act of following a black man through a store because you think he might steal something. It's calling a young black woman articulate. It's defined as 'a comment or action that subtly and often unconsciously or unintentionally expresses a prejudiced attitude toward a member of a marginalized group'. It's microagression. Except there's nothing micro about it.
