Listen

Description

During the month of November, the Catholic Church remembers the dearly departed. In this episode, Laura Fredrickson, a Nativity Catholic School parent, shares about losing her son, Francisco, to terminal brain cancer. Listen as Laura shares the joyful faith of her son and her own grace-filled experience of walking Francisco to the gates of Heaven.

In May of 2023, Francisco Fredrickson was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) at just 7 years old. He passed away a year and a half later, on December 5th, 2024.

This episode goes in-depth into the personal experiences of Francisco's parents, specifically his mother, Laura, and how Francisco's tremendous faith prepared his family for his passing. From "Heaven talks" with his mother to planning out the "Heaven party" that would be his own funeral, Francisco's profound understanding of the spiritual reality of life and death gave his mother the courage she needed to escort him to his Heavenly home.

Listen to this powerful testimony and share it with anyone you know who needs Hope in the midst of tragedy.
