As I look ahead to plan experiences I want to have in the next year of nomad life, I find that it is the animal encounters that I am most keen to seek out. During our exploration of the Galapagos Islands, we had the rare opportunity of swimming with sea lions, and that is an experience that still lives unparalleled in my life as a close and thrilling encounter with large wild animals.
