Because parenting in early childhood is not busy enough, I kept a journal for each of the kids to have someday that told of their growing and which they could have one day when it meant something to them. Don't ask when I had time to do this. That is a futile question. But Dakota's journal is adorable, and here's a piece of it so you can judge for yourself.
