We start wrapping things up for the end of the year, and I don't mean presents. Gardens. Social calendars. Things happen in a similar way on the grand scale in terms of a life. I have been watching my mom and her siblings these past few days and have learned much about how our days decline. It's sobering. Some of life's lessons are harder than others.
