Author Gretchen Rubin (The Happiness Project, Better Than Before) discovered that it's much easier to change our habits during times of transition. Certainly quarantine during this Coronavirus pandemic constitutes as a transitional period for us all. While not ideal, we can take advantage of this time and make it "alive time" (as Robert Green would term it). I go over this notion and share my experience in this episode in hopes of inspiring you to make one small step towards a better version of you (better being whatever you define it to be). For more information about this notion, check out Gretchen's blog: https://gretchenrubin.com/2014/09/habit-change-is-easiest-when-people-move-house-or-undergo-some-life-transition/. Also, hear her as a guest on Yoga Girl's podcast (it's a podcast I produce and it's a fantastic interview): https://www.yogagirl.com/podcast/conversations-from-the-heart/stick-to-healthy-habits-and-de-clutter-your-life-with-gretchen-rubin. Too often I hear people complain about successful people citing that they had X, Y and Z advantage. So what? Comment down below with any questions or thoughts that you may have.
