In the first podcast of the second series, Rebecca and Naomi examine the life of Mark. Mark was not one of the disciples and it is possible that he was actually a small child during the life of Jesus. After the death of Jesus, Mark went on to write the first Gospel, which was in Greek for all of the Greek converts. Mark was a translator for Peter and was the cousin of Barnabas. He helped to build the church in Alexandria and was eventually martyred, but his faith was incredible despite possibly never being close to Jesus! Study notes available at www.accordwomen.com
