Diving into one of our last listener-asked questions from the summer: How do we remain selfless in a selfish world? We live in a very self centered world, everything seems to be ME-centered (even when it is disguised as otherwise) and because the enemy is sneaky, there is often truth mixed in with the lies making it EASIER to fall trap to them without realizing it. Kate and I dive into some cultural lies we hear that seem innocent but we believe can have a negative impact on our hearts and for the Kingdom. Lies like:
"Whatever makes you happy!"
"Love yourself first"
"You are enough"
"You do you! / I'm doing me!"
