The humble rise and swift fall of King Saul. He started out with Samuel the prophet almost like the apprentice that Elisha was to Elijah but as time progressed, the God hand picked king, became the captain of his own ship and even invaded the priests office, disobeyed in dealing with the Amalekites and consulted witches. It’s dangerous when we are called by God and decide that we know better than God, who created the heavens and the earth. We must remain humble and at His feet to execute His program and have success.
