We are only free when we are dead to self and alive in Christ (Romans 8:29) who made us by and for His pleasure and Who knows best how to fulfill that live that He gave us. Second, we are part of a body, 1 Corinthians 12-14, John 17 and until that body is free, liberated, then our individual liberty is not complete. Ephesians 4:5, Philippians 3:16. Third we are not to use our liberty in such a way as to impede others 1 Peter 2:16; Ephesians 5:15. Fourth if we love which is true freedom, we will strive to see that freedom manifest in the lives of others (Isaiah 61).
