The ark of the covenant and mercy seat represent Christs obedience, submission, sacrifice, provision and ability to continue to multiply as the kernel that fell into the ground and died. We too must obey in this dark season and watch God work it out for our good. Obedience demonstrates our love for Him and one another. The jar of manna is no longer corruptible with worms and neither are we with sin…we are incorruptible seed. God’s arm is not shortened that it cannot save and provide to us and through us even in the dark as demonstrated by the rod that budded, blossomed and bore fruit overnight. Where is your faith in GOD?!
