You’ve probably been exposed to a lot of different nutrition information - what’s the best diet for this, foods to avoid for this, etc. and although some of that information is true and may be helpful to you, we can get caught up in the trees and lose sight of the forest! With this episode, Megan and Christie hope to bring you back to nutrition basics.
Saying “reset” sounds cliche, right?! Let’s realign the basics of nutrition and learn how to use it to make you feel empowered instead of overwhelmed. Megan and Christie want to quiet all the noise and set the record straight. Tune in if you have nutrition and food knowledge already - even if you don't learn anything new, this can validate what you already know and confirm what you need for your goals! This will give you a little boost and enable you to hit the ground running! If you don’t know where to begin with nutrition/food, they are starting with basics so you’ll know why these things are important. If you struggle with implementing broad recommendations like “eat more fruits and vegetables” this can give you more insight as to why you should, so it has more meaning for you which means you’re more likely to do it!
