Its the time of year for reflection on the previous 12 months, so we broke the year into 3 digestable chunks so we could tackle all the big events in the life of the Royal Grumble. In the first part, we look at how Wrestlekingdom set the tone for the year outside of WWE, while the big dogs set the tone for their own big dog starting at the Royal Rumble. We look at the highlights in WWE, such as the Festival of Friendship, AJ Styles and Shane McMahon stealing the show at Wrestlemania (because pre-shows dont count, just ask Austin Aries) and NXT making everyone realise that maybe the WWE PPV's just arent cutting it anymore. We also look at the lowlights, such as the Bray Wyatt/Randy Orton saga.
We also look at whats going on outside of the WWE with ROH Celebrating their 15th Anniversary, Rev Pro and Progress reaching new heights, and everything in NJPW such as Okada's amazing year on top and the rise and fall of Katsuyori Shibata.
