Today I am talking to you about the fear that impacts trauma and abuse survivors. In chapter 2 of my book, "The Reconstructed Woman: Blueprints for a Beautiful Life" I share my own personal experience with fear, which manifested itself as anxiety when I was pregnant with my first child.
When we are harmed, hurt, or grow up in difficult environments, fear becomes a part of our body, and our nervous system. Fear needs to be released through us in order to experience peace in the mind, body and spirit. Going through a traumatic event later in life can trigger trauma that has occurred previously, and we need to have a toolkit to help us deal with this fear.
The Bible teaches us these tools, and I share them with you today.
