Cats are often considered to be clean animals. However, sometimes it is possible that cats will use their litter box for a short while and then stop using it.
There are a variety of reasons as to why this can happen, but the most common ones are:
1. The cat is feeling unwell and needs you to notice
2. The box is dirty, the cat wants you to clean it up!
3. The cat wants someone to play with her/him
4. The location may be of dislike for the cat
5. The cat doesn't fit well and wants a new, bigger one
