1. We can prioritize rules. It brings attention to my abilities. There were strict rules for the sabbath. I want to be seen as the best rule follower.
2. We can prioritize people. It is to meet their needs. (25-26).
3. We understand God’s priority. (27-28). The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. God made the Sabbath for man to remember God and to remember their calling to represent Him. It is to care for those He created. It isn’t to show how great we are. We are to remember how great God is.
