Luke 23:1-25
Jesus gets surrounded by our necessary evil and the predictability of stupidity, man made government, both Israel’s and Rome’s. The pattern of man made government is the story, and in the middle is Jesus Christ, God’s government of the future, who rules at the family level. The Divine Right of Kings is not God’s thing, the Divine Right of Jesus is God’s thing. Surprisingly, God endures our stupidity to save us.
