Robb King, sponsor, IG: blumetheory
"Robb King is the founder and owner of Blume Theory, an evaluation company in Washington, DC. Using evaluation, strategy, and coaching techniques, he helps organizations identify clear next steps when business gets tough.
After ten years of working as a group facilitator and data analyst, Robb noticed that many organizations–especially POC-led ones–struggled to grow. He noted that these struggles were often tied to two obstacles: unprepared leadership and ineffective planning.
Because Robb believes that thriving communities exist when we have thriving places to work, Blume's Theory was created to support organizations through evaluative thinking and practice to navigate challenging, overwhelming moments. Since its founding in 2022, Blume Theory’s evaluation work has helped its clients obtain more than $100,000 in funding, double organizational partnerships, and build new products with lasting impact.
When Robb is not helping his clients evaluate their work, he looks for great bakeries and enjoys concerts. You can find him debating music with his partner and close friends outside these activities. You will earn his trust if you mention the greatness of Whitney Houston or Martha Wash."
